Both are great guns, but I prefer the springfield. I own a xd 9 and trust it with my life. Yes they are heavier but for many reasons. They are thicker and have a metal guide rod and metal sites. Glocks have plastic guide rods and plastic sites. The xd has a better trigger and it has conventional rifling for reloads.The NF Sights have plenty of obtuse angles in their design to avoid this problem, not getting snagged on places and having a lower profile. This is a good design in the NF Sights.
