Discussion & Info. Hi all, kind of new to Elden ring, but not to soulsborne games. I want to do a cold infusion on something like a claymore, but am unsure which way to stat? Is it better to go mostly str and heavy infuse with a cold AOW, or split similarly to a quality build with str/int and cold infuse? This stuff can be confusing at times 😅.

Infusion scaling decreases keep similar or same ratios, so whatever weapon you like that had decent dex scaling standard is gonna keep relatively elevated dex scaling cold. But cold infusions will never increase dex scaling. Guardian swordspear gets a B scaling in dex with cold, so does the godskin peeler, probably a few other weapons do too.
