January 4, 2018 (edited) Hey there, seems like I encountered a very rare bug with the quest Lost to the Ages. It's an unnecessarily long and shitty story, please bear with me. I got past the tonal lock without any problems, talked to Katria and picked up the first Aetherium Shard, which obviously adds the objective of finding the remaining shards.

Once you compl...I ended up smithing Dwarven Arrows and quickly got my smithing level to 100. atherial crown allows you to have two standing stones but takes helmet slot. Atherial staff is probably not worth it. and a sheild is not worth it for a two hander. the quest is not that great to do so its probably fine to give it a miss.
