My problem is that the specd gap on the original 318 plug was .025. A couple online Deere parts stores sell the Deere/NGK plug and show “standard gap .025” in description. It looks like your jumper to 12 volts is done correctly -- so if the other terminal of the coil is getting switched up and down it should provide spark.
