After tech said he had seen another 1 that happened under 100k we did ask FCA and was told it was out of warranty and they would do nothing.

The only way I can get it to start is by planting a 100W light bulb on the air intake heater housing for 1-2 hours. Obviously , the electric air intake heater is not working (despite the "glow plug" light on the dash lighting up for 10 seconds, which it does). The housing does NOT heat up. The code is from the relay unplugged. The ECM is not seeing the relay. Try disconnecting the main power cable for the relay instead. The relay will still work. Just no longer supply power to the grid heater. I see no sensors for the grid heater circuit. See what you if any code you get after restoring the relay.
