1 Answer. Remove 5 screws on bottom of door panel. Remove 1 screw at arm rest. Remove 1 screw on upper corner near speaker. Remove 1 screw for power window/mirror/lock assembly. Then remove 3 screws that holds the power window wiring. Last remove power mirror wire plastic; make note of which plastic piece goes over the plastic notch (key).They are an improvement over the Ford factory speakers in front. Highs and midrange sounds better. I did figure out how to remove the rear door panels and I replaced them with the same speakers. Because of the placement of those speakers I don't notice any difference for the rears. Should have just changed the fronts and forgot about the rears.
