April 2024 marks 100 years since the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, opened its doors. From its original site on a modest triangle of land, the MFAH has grown into a 14-acre main campus, plus two house museums and gardens. One hundred years ago, the Museum had 60 works of art. Today, the collection holds more than 72,000 works of art.The reading room is on the lower level of the Beck Building. If you have any questions, contact [email protected] or 713.639.7325.
