Our new private Planetarium shows will give you and your small group the chance to enjoy an exclusive experience at the Strasenburgh Planetarium. You choose what day and time works best for your family! Guests can choose from any of the Star Shows, Featured Presentations, and Laser Shows in the current menu of offerings for a private viewing. And this coming weekend, the planetarium will present programming to celebrate the total lunar eclipse that takes place on Sunday, January 20, from about 10:30 p.m. to almost 2 a.m. During that time the planetarium will be open for viewing the eclipse, both with a telescope from outside tower, and in a simulation under the theater's dome.
