The laptop has recognized the printer but is stuck in the initializing stage. Things tried: printer was restarted after turned off for 60 seconds. -took out the ink cartridge, unplugged both power cable and usb. Restarted with only the power cable plugged in and waited to put back in the cartridge and usb port.
