I love my Sig Mosquito which is exactly the same and rebranded as the GSG Firefly.:bthumb: No problems with any .22LR HV ammo. No FTE or FTF's. Accurate enough for range plinking. A quick search leads me to believe the GSG warranty is better than what Sig was offering when produced for them. A warning to note.

From all accounts the Ruger SR22 is a significantly better pistol, but they usually go for around $300 these days. Still, I would consider looking for a good used Ruger which would probably be within your price range, rather than buying a new Walther P22. Just lucky that GSG and American Tactical stood behind their products so well. The double action trigger is abominal and the single has a long reset. Way better off with a TX-22 either the regular or competition model. I have both and love them. With the original TX-22 I put 15 rounds on a upper body steel plate at 50 yards in about 6 seconds. The mosquito/firefly is made by GSG.

Here's my experience: The first time I took it out, I put 300ish rounds through it. Yeah, the trigger isn't nice at all, especially in double action.
