The 14R really wants to be and is a great trainer rifle. But the 457 is a woodman's/fieldmans rifle. I agree with this assessment. The B-14R is a tank, and I wouldn't want to lug it around in the woods. There are many models of 457, and most are suited to woods walking, and all are lighter and handier than the B-14R.CZ 457 trigger job, you could see the different rates for them. They could be contained with a M5 set screw. There is only about .56" in hole depth so my feeling is the self contained plungers are a much better place to start.
