146. Feb 13, 2016. #3. The Lehigh breech plug was made for the Extreme/Elites and sold by Lehigh. It was made out of 17/4 stainless with a removable vent and really made the guns a lot cleaner to shoot. It fit some others like the Super Disc and also the LRH. The Lehigh plug was never made for the Ultralites or Mountaineers.The breech plug is threaded for a 1/4-28 screw, and I made the thread of the fitting for the 209 primer to fit in the original breech plug. I fired the rifle using both the 11mm cap and the 209 primer, and they both functioned well. The only problem was inserting the 209 primer into the fitting. Has anyone been able to try the power stem breech plug in any of the .50 caliber Knight rifles? Just curious what the reults were compared to the standard plug. The current plugs that you see for sale is the 11/16 x 20 plug and most of the later 54cals used the same plug. Just pull it out and measure it.
