The Benelli barrels will not fit the Franchi, location of the lug/recoil spring and the fact the Benelli barrel will probably set you back $500 makes this unfeasible and unrealistic. I have a couple of Affinitys and I know they shoulder very similar to a Benelli M2. I haven't been able to find a 48 AL locally and I don't want to order a Fenice until I shoulder it.
